How to stay hydrated while working in hot weather?

The summer heat can be brutal, and few things are worse than feeling dehydrated. The solution? Drink more water.

But how do you know, if you are really getting enough water? How much should you consume in order to stay hydrated throughout the day?

Here are some tips on how to stay hydrated during the summer months.

Water before you eat

If you are trying to lose weight, it is smart to drink water before meals so that you feel fuller, even better.

Drinking water first can help you eat less and avoid snacking later on.

So if you typically end up eating after dinner, try sipping a glass of water before your next meal.

According to a study in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, drinking about 17 ounces (approx. 482 gram) of water increases metabolic rate by 30 percent in healthy men and women. As a result potentially leading to about a pound (approx. 453 gram) lost over a three-month period. Can’t get enough? At least you should try one of these metabolism-boosting tips even for joy.

Do not wait until you are thirsty
